Rogers Samsung Galaxy S release date announced

After Bell Wireless, Rogers gets a part of the action. Samsung has announced today, in a full press conference the Rogers Samsung Galaxy S release date. The Galaxy smartphone line is expected to hit Canada in September 2010. Bell really takes a hit, considering that from September, people will have a second option, as fanatics choose carriers only for their cellphones and not by their plans. Although the exact model hasn’t yet been announced, we have some clues.

Taking in consideration that Rogers has worked some time with AT&T, the best guess, at this moment, is that the first Rogers cellphone, from the Galaxy S line, will be the Samsung Captivate. This model is more likely to be found on Rogers’s shelves because of its 3G GSM network. With the Rogers Samsung Galaxy S release date announcement, it truly makes Galaxy S leave by his name. As more companies have exclusivity with carriers, Samsung goes free for all.
