Here at MDG we all are fans of the BlackBerry and we try to make that obvious by bringing you all the right news. Lately we covered the BB Bold 9870 and brought you news about the BB Curve 9300 3G, and also on the subject, you can check out this link for the BlackBerry 9800 specs. The real news however, comes to us drifting on the internet, a snapshot from FutureShop’s inventory regarding the Rogers BlackBerry Torch release. The picture shows details on the BlackBerry 9800 release date and it seems that Rogers will bring the Torch one day earlier than Telus.
The Canadian carriers have all confirmed a launch sometime in September, and with Telus word has been going around that September 16th would be an accurate release date. However, the BlackBerry 9800 Rogers release date is coming to us even sooner, on the 15th of September to more exact. Even though the photo does show a BlackBerry Torch price, don’t take it literally. It seems that FutureShop always puts new BlackBerries at $999.99, so don’t be alarmed because of this high price tag.

BlackBerry Torch 9800 slider
The real price will look something closer to $599.99 without a contract, and will probably reveal itself closer to the release date. The BlackBerry 9800 slider brings you the best of both worlds with its new touchscreen and keypad but more about its specs following the link provided above. With the Rogers release date arriving these next weeks, will you be a happy BB Torch owner?
